Operating skills for IPX1 drip test box:
1. After plugging in the power switch, press the red button on the operation panel to start the control system; Then connect the water pipe to the IPX12drip test box;
2. The testing machine should be placed on a flat ground, and the movable casters at the four corners of the bottom of the testing machine should be fixed to prevent displacement of the testing machine during the testing process;
3. Place the sample on the turntable; Bind and fix the sample on the turntable with a binding tape to avoid displacement of the sample during the test, resulting in incorrect test values;
4. Adjust the height of the turntable so that the distance between the test sample and the needle is 200mm;
5. The turntable can be rotated during testing, with a tilt of 0 ° or 15 °; The turntable rotation speed of IPX1 is 1 r/min.
6. On the operation panel, select the IPX1 drip test program and start the IPX1 drip test box; Click the IPX1 rain drop test procedure on the operation panel. According to national standards, the total flow rate for IPX1 rain drop test is 1-5 mm/min (± 0.5 mm/min), and a 10 minute simulation test should be conducted;
7. After the test is completed, the system alarm should be cleared, and then the door of the box should be opened. Take out the sample and wipe the water droplets on the sample with a cloth. Take it to the testing department to detect whether there is any water ingress or other problems with the sample.

Operating tips for IPX2 drip test box:
1. After plugging in the power switch, press the red button on the operation panel to start the control system; Then connect the water pipe to the IPX12 rain drop test device;

5. On the operation panel, select the IPX2 rain drop test program and start the IPX2 water drop tester; Click the IPX2 rain drop test procedure on the operation panel. According to national standards, the IPX2 rain drop test should undergo a 10min simulation test;
6. After the test is completed, the system alarm should be cleared, and then the door of the box should be opened. Take out the sample and wipe the water droplets on the sample with a cloth. Take it to the testing department to detect whether there is any water ingress or other problems with the sample.

Can other water sources be used for waterproofing testing?
When preparing for IP waterproofing testing, tap water should be used. Especially for IPX1 — 4 waterproof test device, the diameter of the test needle used in the test device is basically only 0.4mm. If a water source with debris is used, the nozzle of the testing machine will be blocked, affecting the test value.
