Product No: IK07-10
IK07-10 Pendulum Impact Tester (also known as Pendulum Impact Testing Machine) is a professional equipment specially designed to test the mechanical impact protection performance of the enclosures of electrical and electronic products. Based on the principle of pendulum impact, it simulates external mechanical impacts by precisely controlling impact energy, angle and impact point. It can efficiently detect the impact resistance of product enclosures, helping enterprises and testing institutions verify whether products meet the IK protection level requirements in relevant safety standards.
LISUN Pendulum Impact Testing Machine offer two options: the standard electric-operated model (IK07-10) and the manual-operated simple model (IK07-10S), with the flexibility to optionally equip an additional IK11 (50J) hammerhead. Whether it is LED luminaires, power distribution cabinets, non-metallic electrical energy cabinets, or household and similar electrical appliances, IK07-10 Pendulum Impact Tester can perform impact tests at different energy levels, providing reliable data support for product research and development, production quality inspection and compliance certification, and ensuring the safety and durability of products when dealing with mechanical impacts in actual use.

Specifications:
• Distance between the axis of pendulum pivot and the axis of impact element: 1,000mm
• Structural principle: The test sample is placed normally, adjust the impact point, position the impact device, and release the pendulum rod to allow the hammerhead to freely impact the sample
• Impact energy, equivalent mass and drop height refer to Table 2 in IEC 60068-2-75
IK07-10 Drop Height
• The IK rating is defined as IKXX, where “XX” ranges from 00 to 10, indicating the degree of protection that the enclosure can provide against external mechanical impacts. Different IK ratings relate to the impact energy levels (measured in Joules, J) that the enclosure can withstand. IEC 62262 specifies how to install the test object, requirements for ventilation conditions, the number and distribution of impact hammers, and the corresponding impact hammer for each rating.
• The IK07-10 Pendulum Impact Tester can perform tests for IK07, IK08, IK09, and IK10. In addition to the ratings covered by IK07-10, the IK07-11 Pendulum Impact Tester can also conduct IK11 (50J) tests. For impact energy tests not exceeding 2J, we recommend using the IK01-06 Spring Impact Hammer.

2J | 5J | 10J | 20J | 50J |
Applications:
• Specialized Testing in the Lighting Industry: For ceiling lamps, outdoor street lamps, landscape lighting fixtures, etc., in accordance with IEC 60598-1/GB/T 7000.1 standards, it tests the enclosure’s IK rating to verify the lamps’ ability to resist collisions and impacts during transportation, installation, and outdoor use. This prevents safety hazards caused by exposed internal circuits due to enclosure damage.
• Testing of Household and Similar Electrical Appliances: Covering products such as refrigerators, washing machines, and small household appliances, it tests the impact strength of appliance enclosures in accordance with IEC 60335-1/GB 4706.1 standards. This ensures that product enclosures will not compromise user safety due to damage during daily use such as accidental knocks.
• Testing of Low-Voltage Electrical and Distribution Equipment: Suitable for power distribution cabinets, non-metallic electrical cabinets, plugs, and sockets. In accordance with IEC 60884-1/GB 2099.1 standards, it simulates mechanical impacts in industrial or civil scenarios to verify the protection capability of equipment enclosures for internal components, ensuring the safety of power transmission and usage.
• Testing of Audio-Visual Electronic Equipment: For speakers, televisions, projectors, etc., in accordance with IEC 62368-1GB 4943.1 standards, it tests the impact resistance of enclosures to prevent equipment from malfunctioning or posing electric shock risks due to accidental impacts.
