  • The IK01-07 Spring Impact Hammer is a high-precision testing device designed by LISUN specifically for evaluating the impact resistance of product casings.     According to IEC 62262, the IK rating (Degrees of Protection Against External Mechanical Impacts) is a core indicator for measuring a product’s ability to withstand external mechanical impacts. It’s expressed as “IKXX,” where “XX” is a two-digit number (ranging from 00-10). A higher number indicates a higher level of impact protection and, consequently, a higher impact energy level (measured in joules) that can be resisted. The following table shows the relationship between different IK ratings and impact energies:

    LISUN offers two types of IK spring impact hammers:

    • Single Type (one spring impact hammer for each IK level): IK01, IK02, IK03, IK04 , IK05, IK06, IK07
    • Universal Type (The six IK levels are concentrated into an adjustable spring impact hammer): IK01-06
