The ZY-3 Needle Flamp Test apparatus is mainly used for testing lighting equipment, low-voltage electrical appliances, household appliances, power tools, electronic instruments, electronic meters, etc. Additionally, this instrument is also suitable for testing insulation materials, engineering plastics, and solid flammable materials. The needle flame test apparatus consists of a needle flame burner, a working chamber, and a temperature measuring device.
A1: The device includes a gas supplier and butane gas. And a battery inside of the remote control. However, butane gas and batteries are dangerous materials. According to the courier policy of each region, they may can’t be sent. Please purchase suitable battery and gas for use according to the user manual.

Q3: Temperature rise time is not 23.5s.
A3: The temperature rise time is used to determine whether the butane gas you use, the flame you adjust, and the test conditions meet the standard test requirements. If the temperature rise time is incorrect, it means that your test does not meet the standard requirements, not that there is a problem with the equipment itself.
Please confirm that the gas used meets the standard requirements and the adjusted flame size meets the standard requirements. Please confirm that the set temperature rise range (Time start temperature; Time end temperature) is 100°C to 700°C. Please confirm that the position of the copper block is fixed according to the standard, which is 6mm directly above the needle. Please close the chamber door. Then start measuring the temperature rise time. If there is air flow, it will also affect the temperature rise effect.

Q4: The flame is unstable after a period of use
A4: The needle should be cleaned after each use of the device. But after long-term use, the needle still needs to be replaced regularly. If the equipment is used frequently, it is recommended to replace the needle at least once every six months.
