How does a salt fog chamber work

Construction
Salt fog chambers’ inner and outer walls are constructed with a double-wall design that allows warm air to circulate between them. Warm air is distributed in a closed-loop by blowers and heaters at the unit’s foundation.

To create the salt environment, the atomizing nozzle draws salt solution from the reservoir with compressed air. The hot water kept in the saturation tower is used to warm and saturate the compressed air. You can get the best salt fog chamber from the LISUN.

A small quantity of condensing moisture continually purges the nozzle, lessening the likelihood for the salt solution to crystallize and clog by saturating the air at a temperature higher than that near the salt spray nozzle. You should prepare the salt solution in line with the test requirements. If you’re using distilled or demineralized water, you’ll need to add two pounds of sodium chloride to every gallon of water.

You may adjust the thermostat by rotating the adjustment screw if it is required to alter the temperature. The temperature is lower when the screw is turned clockwise. You should make adjustments in eighth-turn increments. Before making any more modifications, be sure to provide sufficient time for stability.

Working
The working procedure is as follows:
1. Keep the chamber on a flat surface before starting the experiment.
2. Ensure that the vent line is clear of obstructions before connecting it.
3. Fill the reservoir of the tower.
4. Ensure that the salt reservoir is filled to within an inch of the top before reinstalling the lid.
5. Close the top cover trough when you’ve finished filling it.
6. Connect the compressed air source to the chamber.
7. Open the air valve in the chamber.

on compressed air.
9. Put the tower switch in the “on” position with the selection valve in the “salt spray” position.
10. Observe the pilot lights on the electric panel to ensure that the thermostats are operating correctly.
