What is glow wire test

The main purpose:
The Glow Wire Tester/Glow Wire Test device is used to detect the thermal stress caused by heat sources or ignition sources such as glowing components or overload resistors in a short time to evaluate the standard level of related products.

The ZRS-3H Glow wire Test Apparatus is according to IEC60695-2-1, IEC60695-2-10, IEC60695-2-11, IEC60695-2-12, IEC60695-2-13 (GB/T5169.10, GBT5169.11, GBT5169.12, GB/T5169.13) < basic testing methods of Glow wire, basic testing methods of Glow wire device>, UL 746A, IEC829, DIN695 and VDE0471. 

Application Range:
 The Glow wire test device ZRS-3H/ZRS-3HS is suitable for resistance to abnormal heat and fire test on lighting lamps, electronic products and household appliances. Glow wire test under fault or overload conditions, components or parts may reach an excessively high temperature or ignite the parts near them. You can test and simulate the thermal stress caused by heat sources or ignition sources such as hot components or overloaded resistance in a short time. Use simulation the technical assessment of fire hazard is applicable to plastic and non-metallic insulating material parts used in electrical and electronic products, components, and household appliances, such as switch housings and relay sockets.
