The usage of the IP dustproof detection box is to check if there is any sundries in the box first, then install the dust screen, add dust into the box, fix the sample, turn on the power switch, and start running. Finally, remove the sample, take out the screen, take out the dust from the outlet at the bottom and keep it dry, and close the door. The IP dust-proof testing equipment is mainly used to test whether the enclosure and sealers can ensure the good performance of the equipment and components in a large dust environment. The specific requirements and qualification criteria are set according to the standard GB4208-2008 (IEC60529-2001).

I. Principle of Dustproof Test Chamber
The centrifugal fan is the main energy source for dust movement, and the high-speed rotating of the fan blade enables the dust to be sucked into the fan. Due to the centrifugal force of the fan blade, the dust enters the dust pipe. The wind speed entering the pipe is usually more than 7.5m/s (low wind speed will cause the dust to precipitate in the pipe, making the test tube unable to work). The dust pipe is sprayed into the test box from the top, and passes through the sample at a speed greater than 2m/s. Due to the funnel shape at the bottom of the working box, dust precipitated can slide into the 72X50um filter net below. Through the vibration of the vibration motor, the dust less than the filter net hole diameter is sucked in again by the centrifugal fan, so it circulates repeatedly.

II. Usage of IP Dustproof Test Chamber
1. Check for debris inside the box, especially under the punched net, remove the punched net, remove the small door of the ash discharge port at the bottom of the funnel, blow from the inside of the box to the bottom with compressed air, try to blow the debris out of the box, then fasten the ash discharge port door;
2. Install the punched net from the box, first operate the box, check the equipment control part: turn on the power switch, set the controller parameters (see next page); click to start running, turn on each function gradually, and check the running status of the equipment; turn off after determining that all functions are normal;
3. Add dust into the box according to 2kg/m3;
4. Fix the sample on the sample frame according to the requirements;
5. Connect the power supply in advance if necessary;
6. Turn on the power switch to start the test. After the test is finished, take out the sample, remove the sieve net, take out the dust from the outlet at the bottom and dry it for storage, and close the big door.

Dust-proof testing equipment is suitable for testing whether the enclosure and sealing parts of electrical products can ensure the good performance of equipment and components in a dusty environment, and can simulate various environments with relatively large dust. The dust will vertically drop onto the sample, and the dust will be collected and concentrated to the vortex air pump through the vibration, so as to achieve the circulation of dust from top to bottom. The dustproof testing device is designed and manufactured according to the requirements of GB4208-2008 (IEC60529-2001), and is used to test the dustproof performance of the tested product. IV. Advantages and Features of Sand and Dust Test Chamber
The sand dust test box generally consists of the test box (room) and auxiliary equipment. The auxiliary equipment is used to ensure and control the sand dust particles concentration, wind speed, temperature and humidity of the two-phase flow containing sand dust in the given cross section of the wind tunnel, and to simulate the sand dust environment of the blasting test specimen according to the military standard requirements. In order to ensure that the full dust test box (room) space can be fully circulated, the cross-sectional area of the test specimen (vertical to the air flow direction) shall not exceed 50% of the cross-sectional area of the test box (room), and the volume of the test specimen shall not exceed 30% of the effective volume of the test box (room).

The sand dust test box should be equipped with corresponding devices to maintain and check the dust concentration in the test box. At present, in China, the weighing method is generally adopted to calculate the dust concentration. The sampling and weighing method is a relatively reliable and accurate dust concentration measurement method, but its disadvantage is that it takes a long time to measure, and it can not continuously measure the dust concentration and output electrical signals, so some intelligent instruments and computers can be used to monitor the dust concentration in real time. This not only ensures the accuracy of dust concentration measurement, but also solves the real-time monitoring of dust concentration.

During the test, the measurement of wind speed, temperature and relative humidity should be continuous, and the placement of the measuring sensors should avoid direct impact by the dusty air flow and be damaged, if necessary, some protective devices can be added for shielding.

For the sand dust test box, the leakage problem is one of the technical key points in the manufacture of the test box (room), so the sealing performance should be good, and the dust leakage should meet the requirements of relevant environmental protection specifications, and can not cause harm to the health of personnel.
