(1) The market participation of LED plant lighting beads packaging enterprises
Most international and domestic mainstream packaging manufacturers know and are closely concerned about the progress of the plant lighting market. After interviewing 20 packaging companies, the author learned that because the current volume of plant lighting markets is still small, there are three strategies for the plant lighting market: there are three types of strategies:

1. Continue to wait and see, the plant lighting bead products have not yet been released;
2. Although plant lighting products have been released, it has not actually promoted the energy;
3. Not only have plant lighting products, but also strive to strive for greater market share.

In addition to the mainstream packaging companies, the current participation in plant lamp beads also includes a number of small and medium -sized packaging factories or professional plant lighting lamp manufacturers. These companies are mainly distributed in Shenzhen, Dongguan and Zhongshan in Guangdong.

The author has statistics on the time of the 10 plant lamp packaging companies in key interviews entering the market. Osram is the earliest company to supply special lamps for plant lighting. In 2014 and before, 4 of these 10 packaging companies have released plant lighting beads in the plant lighting market. Lighting, and more people recognize that Japan and the United States’ artificial light plant factories, especially the United States, are legalized through marijuana planting in many states. In 2016, more leading packaging companies have released the lamp beads of plant lighting one after another packaging products.

A. Spectral analysis
LED plant lighting light source spectral spectrals are divided into two categories. One is the narrow spectrum emitted by the chip itself, and the other is the fluorescent conversion spectrum of fluorescent powder with blue -purple light chips. B. Power analysis
The encapsulation form of LED plant lighting light sources follows the form of traditional lighting. The packaging form can be divided into four categories:
1. 0.2-0.9W 2835 and 5730 packaging;
2. 1-3W high -power EMC bracket packaging, imitation packing packaging or ceramic lining lens package;
3. 3-10W COB packaging or large ceramic SMD packaging;
4. > 10W COB packaging.

The following is the statistics of the LED light source power that can be supplied by each packaging company.
As can be seen from the figure above, all packaging companies can provide universal packaging products of 0.2-0.9W and 1-3W. These light sources give lamp manufacturers very good flexibility during lamp design. In addition, some manufacturers also provide higher power integrated packaging products. At present, more than 80 % of the 10 manufacturers are 0.2-0.9W or 1-3W. Among them, the international leading packaging companies are concentrated in 1-3W, while the shipments of small and medium -sized packaging companies are concentrated in 0.2-0.9W.

(3) Plant lighting lamps and corporate regional distribution, lamp application regional distribution:
From 10 interviewed plant lighting packaging companies, it is learned that the current global plant lighting lamp production customers are mainly distributed in China (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan), North America, Europe, Japan, and other regions. It is Europe or North America, and a few packaging companies are mainly Europe or North America.

The application areas of plant lamps include China (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan), North America, Europe, Japan, Middle East, South America, Australia, Singapore. The customer groups of various packaging manufacturers are very different. The proportion of applications is very different. In summary, lamps used in North America, mainland China and Europe account for about 20-40 %, respectively.

(4) Field of plant lighting lamps
From the perspective of application, plant lighting fixtures are mainly used in artificial light marijuana planting, sunlight greenhouse supplement, all -artificial light plant, plant tissue cultivation, dragon fruit supplementation, family vegetables and flower planting, and laboratory research. The proportion of packaging manufacturer’s client for application fields is shown in the figure below.

Among them, artificial light marijuana planting applications account for about 20 %, solar greenhouse applications account for 20-40 %, and the application of all artificial optical plant factories accounts for about 20-30 % of Plant factory. We also confirm the market application from plant packaging light sources.

(5) Market and future prediction of plant lighting
From the 10 plant lamp packaging companies, it is learned that whether the 660nm LED light source or the fluorescent powder conversion plant LED light source, their 2017 sales growth rate in 2016 recorded a significant increase, of which the growth rate of 660NMLED light sources concentrated on the growth rate of light sources. In 20-50 %, the sales growth rate of fluorescent powder conversion plant LED light sources reached 50 % -200 %, and the sales of fluorescent powder conversion plant LED light sources increased faster.

Packaging companies generally hold an optimistic attitude towards the development of plant lighting beads in the future. The expectations of growth rates in the next three years are concentrated at 20-50 %. Therefore, in order to better serve the market, 9 of the 10 from the 10companies were launched new plant lighting products in 2018.
