LS-B78 IEC 60884-1:2022 Figure 5 Test Piston for Plug and Socket Marking Abrasion Resistance Test is a test piston dedicated to marking abrasion resistance tests, fully compliant with IEC 60884-1:2022, Figure 5 and compatible with marking durability test equipment for sockets and switches.

Made of high chemical-resistant synthetic rubber with Shore-A hardness of 47 ± 5, the piston resists erosion by standard test liquids. Its dimensions are precision-machined according to Figure 5 (diameter 20 mm, spherical radius 20 mm), enabling stable application of the standard (5 ± 1) N compression force and reciprocating rubbing at one cycle per second when used with a dedicated fixture. The product supports partial testing of long markings over 20 mm and can be customized for special product structures, serving as a key component to ensure accurate and traceable results in marking abrasion tests.
