LISUN LEDLM-80PL LED Optical Aging Test Instrument – After Sales Questions and Answers

LEDLM-80PL LED Lumen Maintenance and Aging Life Test System is designed according to IES-LM-80 and TM-21, it used to test & record the optical and electrical Maintenance for single LED or LED module, the software is based on Arrhenius model and TM-21 to calculate the LED life. The LEDLM-80PL needs to work with a GDJW/GW Series High Temperature Chamber and and DC12010 DC Power Source.

LEDLM-84PL LED Lumen Maintenance and Aging Life Test System is designed according to IES LM-84 and TM-28, it used to test & record the optical and electrical Maintenance for LED luminaires, the software is based on Arrhenius model and TM-28 to calculate the LED life. The LEDLM-84PL needs to work with a GDJW/GW Series High Temperature Chamber and and LSP-1KVARC AC Power Source.

LED has the feature of long life, but its life will be different with the different working condition and driver current. Generally the life will be around 50K hours. Different from the traditional lightsource, LED light will decay gradually rather than extinguish instantly. 
1) L70 (hour): time to 70% lumen maintenance
2) L50 (hour): time to 50% lumen maintenance

Q1: Communication error is prompted during the software test
A1: communication error prompts are basically the following possibilities:
①. The system is connected to the computer through RS485 communication cable and rs485-usb adapter cable. The driver of rs485-usb adapter cable needs to be installed. And the corresponding communication port can be seen in the computer hardware management:

The system is generally connected to the computer through two communication lines, so the two communication ports corresponding to the two communication lines can be seen here. If you do not confirm which port corresponds to which cable, you can confirm it by plugging and unplugging the USB communication cable.
Note: some computers may change the number of communication ports automatically after restarting.
②. Then in the system setting, the models and communication ports of all equipment are selected correctly according to the actual situation. (Note: the following figure is only an example. Your device may be different from the model and port shown in the figure.)

Q2: how to modify the total test duration and sampling interval
A2: the following options are the sampling time settings, and the unit is hour. The maximum number is the total test duration. You are free to modify, add or subtract numbers, but according to the following rules:
①. Numbers should be arranged from small to large.
②. Two adjacent numbers are separated by commas.
