The static electricity generated by the human body to the object or between two objects may cause the electrical and electronic equipment circuits to malfunction or even be damaged. Therefore, tests that ESD test are widely used all over the world. The intelligent ESD test gun fully meets the standards IEC61000-4-2 and GB/T17626.2. The ESD test has direct discharge and indirect discharge methods.
1. Direct discharge: the discharge of the equipment when the equipment operator directly touches the equipment, and the impact of the discharge on the operation of the equipment. Contact discharge is the first choice, and air discharge is used when contact discharge cannot be used. Contact discharge: The principle is that when the electrode tip of the electrostatic discharger has a higher voltage, it can cause electrostatic discharge to other conductors that are in contact with it, thereby forming a contact discharge. Air discharge: The principle is that when the charged electrode of the electrostatic generator is close to some parts of the TV to be tested, a spark breakdown channel can be formed between the electrode and the part to be tested, causing static electricity between the electrode and the part to be tested.
2. Indirect discharge: the impact on the equipment when the equipment operator touches the equipment. During the test, the horizontal and vertical coupling plates are discharged to simulate the impact on the TV itself when electrostatic discharge occurs around the TV. The test site is the most central part of the horizontal and vertical coupling plates.
