Brazil – customer set up Light and EMI/EMC Laboratory

This is a laboratory in São Paulo, Brazil, with over 20 years of experience in the field of measurement and quality control. The laboratory specializes in equipment calibration and testing for the LED industry, providing diverse testing and analysis according to customer standards and requirements. Their commitment is to constantly improve products and services for the market. To ensure quality systems, the laboratory meets the ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 9001 ABNT NBR standards and certification regulations, constantly seeking and ensuring the improvement of quality systems.

Our client learned about our company through our website in 2019. At the time, the client intended to establish a laboratory that would provide testing services. During our communication with the client, we introduced them to the basic equipment in the LED testing industry, specifically mentioning the LPCE-2 (LMS-9000C) High Precision Spectroradiometer Integrating Sphere System and LSG-1800A High Precision Rotation Luminaire Goniophotometer. Additionally, we discovered the client’s need for EMI/EMC-related testing equipment, such as the EMI-9KC EMI Conducted & Radiated Interference Test System, SG61000-5 Lightning Surge Generator, ESD61000-2 Electrostatic Discharge Generator, and VVLA-30M Loop Antenna used in conjunction with the EMI-9KC EMI receiver test. The client was very satisfied with the technical specifications of these devices and began to raise funds.

In 2020, the client contacted us again, indicating that they were fully prepared with the site and funds ready, and they wished to place an order as soon as possible. Upon learning of the client’s intentions, we immediately began the production of the equipment. However, due to the severity of the pandemic at the time, our engineers were unable to travel abroad to install the equipment. After the client received the equipment, we promptly provided detailed installation manuals and installation videos. Simultaneously, our engineers offered online communication to confirm and guide the client through the testing process. Eventually, the client successfully installed and used the equipment. The client felt a great sense of achievement after the successful installation and operation, and they sent us pictures of some of the laboratory equipment:
