This customer initially discovered our company through a third-party website and became interested in our optical testing equipment. At the beginning, they mainly relied on third-party laboratories for luminaire testing. However, as their business expanded and the variety of luminaires increased, their testing needs grew accordingly. Particularly for larger outdoor luminaires, they found that existing testing methods could not meet their requirements. They needed higher precision data on luminous intensity, intensity distribution, regional luminous flux, and luminaire efficiency. Based on this need, the customer decided to establish their own photometric laboratory to enhance testing efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality met market demands.

After forming this idea, the customer reached out to us and had an initial discussion with our technical team. Lisun’s engineers provided insights into the basic requirements for setting up a photometric laboratory, preparations for the darkroom, and recommendations on equipment selection. After in-depth discussions and technical consultations, the customer quickly decided to purchase the Lisun LSG-1800A High Precision Rotation Luminaire Goniophotometer.

The Lisun LSG-1800A is a High Precision Rotation Luminaire Goniophotometer designed for measuring luminous intensity distribution. It features a temperature-controlled detector, a Mitsubishi servo motor from Japan, and a German encoder to ensure high accuracy and stability during operation. This equipment is widely used in industrial laboratories for photometric parameter measurement and is suitable for testing various light sources, including LED luminaires, HID lamps, and fluorescent lamps.

The successful establishment of their own photometric laboratory enabled them to independently perform optical performance testing on luminaires, eliminating their reliance on third-party laboratories. This resulted in significant cost savings and improved R&D efficiency.
