  • The EMI-9K series EMI Receiver Test System (also known as EMI Test Receiver System, Electromagnetic Interference Test system or EMI Test System) is designed to measure the conducted interference (propagated through power/signal lines) and radiated interference (propagated through space) generated by electrical and electronic products (EUT) during operation, and providing comprehensive technical support for product electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) compliance testing and interference source location.

The EMI-9K series utilizes a fully enclosed design, providing excellent shielding and fundamentally solves the problem of self-interference. Widely used by manufacturers, R&D centers and third-party testing organizations in fields such as LED lighting, switching power supply, power tools, household appliances, IT equipment and other industries, it can quickly identify excessive electromagnetic interference (such as switching power supply noise and motor radiated interference) in the testing products (EUT), helping them pass EMC compliance certification and preventing interference issues that could disrupt normal operation or pose safety risks.

    Applications:
    1. Information Technology Equipment (IT Equipment):
    • Computer and Peripheral Equipment Testing: Detects conducted and radiated interference from laptops, desktops, printers, and servers, verifying that interference signals within the 9kHz~1GHz frequency band comply with the limits set by GB 9254 and CISPR 22 to prevent interference with the power grid or surrounding electronic devices (such as monitors and routers) during operation.
    • Mobile Terminal Accessory Testing: For accessories such as mobile phone chargers, wireless power banks, and Type-C docking stations, conducted testing is used to locate high-frequency noise generated by switching power supplies, while radiated testing is used to identify radiated interference from wireless charging modules, ensuring product compliance with 3C and CE certifications.

    2. Household Appliances and Power Tools:
    • Household Appliance Electromagnetic Compatibility Testing: This test measures conducted interference (transmitted through power lines) and radiated interference (radiated into space during operation) from household appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines, microwave ovens, and air conditioners. This test complies with GB 4343.1 and CISPR 14-1 standards, preventing appliances from interfering with devices like televisions and radios while also ensuring they are not affected by power grid interference.
    • Power Tool Testing: This test focuses on detecting pulse interference and high-frequency radiation generated by motors in power tools such as electric drills, electric saws, and vacuum cleaners. This system systematically locates interference sources (such as carbon brush sparks and drive circuit noise) to help manufacturers optimize their electromagnetic compatibility designs.

    3. Lighting and Luminaire Equipment:
    • LED Lighting Product Testing: Detects radio interference from LED lamps and LED drivers. Verifies whether radiated interference within the 30MHz-1GHz frequency band exceeds standards in accordance with GB 17743 and CISPR 15 standards to prevent lamps from interfering with smart home systems (such as smart switches and sensors).
    • Stage Lighting Equipment Testing: Tests high-power lighting equipment such as moving headlights and follow-spots for changes in conducted interference during dimming to ensure compliance with electromagnetic compatibility requirements in different operating modes and to prevent interference with stage audio equipment, consoles, and other equipment.

    4. Third-Party Testing and Certification:
    • Compliance Certification Testing: Third-party testing organizations such as SGS, CQC, and TÜV use this system to provide companies with EMI conducted and radiated emissions test reports based on international standards such as EN 55022 and EN 55014-1. This helps companies obtain international certifications such as CE, FCC (US), and VCCI (Japan), enabling them to enter the global market.
    • Interference Problem Diagnosis: This system provides companies with EMI problem troubleshooting services. Using the system’s spectrum analysis function, it locates interference sources (such as noise at specific frequencies). Combined with conducted and radiated emissions test data, it provides optimization recommendations (such as adding filters and optimizing grounding designs), helping companies quickly resolve electromagnetic compatibility issues.
