JL-X waterproof test machine is according to IEC60529:1989 +A1:1999 +A2：2013 《Degrees of protection provided by enclosures(IP Code)》, IEC60598, IEC60335 and IEC 60034-5, GB/T-2423.2, GB4208, GB7000.1. The JL-X includes the following test grades: IPX1, IPX2, IPX3, IPX4, IPX5, IPX6, IPX7 and IPX8 (Refer to page 51 of IEC60529). It is widely used in the authentication test organization for the products such as electrical & electronic products, LED luminaires as well as in the relevant quality control department for the waterproof detection of the enclosures protection grades.

Q1: Why JL-12 equipment uses air compressor
A1: The air compressor is an auxiliary equipment, and it is not necessary to use the air compressor during the test. Only after the test, use the air pressure of the air compressor to quickly remove all the water from the drip pan. Therefore, if there is no air compressor, the test can be carried out normally.
Note: If you need to use the air compressor, first remove one or two needles from the drip tray, and then start the air compressor. To avoid the danger of loose needles caused by too much air pressure in the drip pan.

Q2: How to avoid sample power cord winding
A2: During the test, the turntable needs to be rotated. However, the turntable designed by us will automatically rotate in the opposite direction every minute to avoid the winding of the sample power cord. Use our standard waterproof plug power cord.

Q3: How to confirm test results
A3: If the sample is short circuited and extinguished during the test, it is definitely unqualified. If the sample still lights up normally, it is necessary to take out the sample, wipe the moisture on the surface, and then open the sample to check whether there is water entering the interior. If there is water entering, it is not up to the standard.
