Turkey – Successfully Installed LISUN LSG-1700B Rotation Luminaire Goniophotometer

This client is a well-known lighting equipment manufacturer based in Istanbul, Turkey. With over 20 years of dedication to the lighting industry, it owns a modern production base of 22,000 square meters and complete automatic production lines, with an annual output of more than 60 million sets of LED light sources and various lighting fixtures. The company’s full product range includes LED bulbs, panel lights, floodlights, street lights, wall washers, commercial lighting and decorative lamps. Featuring stable quality and cost-effectiveness, its products sell well in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and other regions, making it one of the most influential local lighting brands in Turkey.

With the upgrading of EU market access standards and the growth of export demand, the client was in urgent need of a high-precision photometric testing equipment. It is used for comprehensive testing of light distribution curves and photoelectric parameters of LED lamps, HID lamps and fluorescent lamps, to ensure products comply with international standards such as CIE, LM-79 and EN13032-1, and meet the requirements of export certification, R&D and quality control. The client clearly required the equipment to test key parameters including luminous intensity distribution, luminous flux, luminaire efficiency, UGR, glare rating and iso-illuminance curve. The test data needed to be compatible with lighting design software such as Dialux. Meanwhile, it shall support stable testing of large-size and heavy-weight lamps with laboratory-level angular accuracy and data reliability.

In response to the client’s requirements, LISUN recommended the LSG-1700B Rotation Luminaire Goniophotometer. Equipped with a constant temperature probe, Japanese Mitsubishi servo motor and German decoder, the equipment achieves an angular accuracy of 0.1°. It can bear lamps with a diameter up to 2000mm and a weight within 60kg, supporting dual-arm B-β and single-arm C-γ testing to fully cover all the client’s testing items. Compliant with multiple standards including CIE-70, LM-79-19 and IES-LM-75, it can export files in IES, LDT, CIE and other formats compatible with mainstream lighting design software. It perfectly matches the client’s demands for export certification and R&D testing, providing solid support for quality control.

After order confirmation, LISUN immediately launched the production and quality inspection process, strictly controlling assembly, calibration and aging test procedures to ensure the equipment meets performance standards. After the equipment arrived in Turkey, our company promptly arranged senior technical engineers to the site for installation, commissioning, system calibration and operational training. The training covered equipment operation, software application, parameter setting, report export and daily maintenance, enabling the client’s engineers to operate the equipment proficiently independently and quickly put it into mass production testing and R&D verification.
