Introduction of waterproof jet test device

What is the waterproof jet test device?
The waterproof jet test device can also be called IPX56 test device, hand-held water sprayer, flushing test machine, etc. It is an open waterproof test equipment belonging to IPX56, and it carries out a level 5 or 6 waterproof test on the product. It is mainly used for electronic and electrical products, lamps, electric cabinets, electrical components, automobiles, motorcycles and their components. The scope of its use is unlimited. The base of the equipment has four movable casters, which can be easily moved and used.

The IPX56 waterproof jet test device has three different models: manual side spray, automatic side spray and open model,
1. The waterproof jet test device is applicable to the test of a 5-grade waterproof grade for the product test requirements.
2. The case is made of SUS304 # stainless steel, which will not rust after long use.
3. The water tank is equipped with a water level float valve to automatically control the water inflow. There is also a good functional feature. When the water level in the tank is low, it will automatically alarm and monitor, reminding the personnel of the damage caused by water shortage.
4 The test time can be set to 0-99min (adjustable). After the test is completed, it will automatically stop.
5 The water spray flow can be adjusted manually through the flow meter.

Problems and solutions of IPX56 waterproof test device:
1. If the equipment starts with abnormal noise or other abnormalities and cannot operate normally, please confirm that the voltage and frequency of the connected power supply are consistent with the product nameplate. Otherwise, the equipment may be damaged.
2 When the machine is turned on, the touch screen displays the phase sequence error. Because the IPX56 waterproof  power supply is three-phase, the equipment cannot operate normally if the phase sequence is incorrect. Please turn off the machine, and then switch the phase sequence of any two phases of the power cord, and then turn on the machine.
3 During the test, the turntable will rotate, which will cause the sample power cord to wind The turntable designed by LISUN will rotate in the opposite direction every minute. Use our waterproof plug power cord to supply power to the sample, and the length is enough. It will not cause winding.
4. When you can hear the sound of the water pump starting and the flowmeter is also in the open state, but no water is sprayed from the nozzle, please stop the water pump first, and then open the exhaust valve of the water pump in the figure below, until there is water flowing out, and then close it. Then restart the water pump.
Note: The latest IPX56 waterproof has no exhaust valve. After redesign, as long as enough water is injected into the water tank, the equipment can be used normally.
After the test starts at 5:00, the equipment will not start the test Please confirm that the program is in the initial state. Please click reset and then click again to start the test.
6. How to confirm the test results: If the sample is short-circuited and extinguished during the test, it must not meet the standard. If the sample can still be lit normally, it is necessary to take out the sample, wipe the water on the surface, and then open the sample to check whether there is water inside. If there is water inside, it is not in conformity with the standard.

IPX56 waterproof jet test device has two operation instructions:
The first is the trial run, which means that before the formal test, it is necessary to conduct a simple test. First, confirm whether the water pipe and power supply are connected, and confirm that the flow meter is turned on; Confirm that the turntable is connected. In fact, turn the conversion key to IPX5, take the corresponding spray gun, press the automatic test button, and pay attention to the nozzle should be pointed at the empty place to prevent mistakenly spraying. Adjust the flow meter and the speed of the turntable to meet the requirements. After the flow meter is stable, press the automatic stop button to start the formal test.
The second is the formal test. First, place the samples to be tested in the center of the turntable, which is about 2.5 meters away from the chassis, so as to meet the standard. Select the IPX5 or IPX6 test level (the spray gun needs to be firmly held) and open the valve of the spray gun. Next, press the automatic test key, align the nozzle with the shell surface of the sample and spray. The total test time shall not be less than 3min, the positive and reverse time of the turntable, and the power-on and power-off time of the sample. After the test is stopped, take out the test sample, check the results and record them. If there is no follow-up time, turn off the equipment power switch.

Need the waterproof test equipment to run?
Whether the waterproof test equipment needs to be operated depends on the working state, but this method is not advisable if it is not used for a long time. Generally, users are advised to run the waterproof test equipment regularly to avoid damage to the machine due to long-term idleness. It is recommended to put it in a ventilated environment once a month to avoid the impact of humid climate on the chassis;

What should we pay attention to when purchasing waterproof test equipment?
1. If the manufacturer contacts you, first confirm whether it is the direct manufacturer. For some professional distributors, you can also choose the manufacturers to cooperate with.
2. According to the size of the waterproof test equipment, select the chamber size suitable for the equipment. Of course, all waterproof equipment can be customized according to the user’s test requirements.
3. Whether the function of waterproof equipment meets the test requirements of the product, such as its waterproof grade, water pressure, etc.
