The equipment comes with its own water tank for circulating water, without the need for a professional waterproof testing room. Test method for waterproof tester:
1. Only when the air pressure in the test chamber reaches the set air pressure and the test officially begins, will the timer display and start the countdown. After the set test duration ends, the timer will turn off again.
2. During testing, it is used to add air pressure to the test chamber to simulate deep water pressure. The top cover of the test chamber is heavy, and when it is necessary to open it, use the air pressure of the air compressor to open the top cover.
3. Take out the sample, wipe off the surface moisture, and then open the sample to check if there is water entering. If there is water entering, it also does not meet the standard. Specific details vary according to industry regulations, and can refer to corresponding industry standards.

Daily methods for extending the service life of waterproof testing systems:
1. Before waterproof testing, the water tank of the test sample must be filled up before conducting the test;
2. Keep the inner box and water tank of the waterproof testing machine clean, and clean water stains when not in use; Diligent to change water once a week;
3. If the filter element inside the filter becomes black, it should be replaced in a timely manner;
4. If the needle on the pendulum tube is deformed or blocked, it should be replaced in a timely manner;
5. The standard turntable bearing capacity is ≤ 50kg, please do not operate under overload.
6. Timely find a local third-party institution for calibration based on the date of the calibration certificate; Once a year.
7. The waterproof testing system should be placed in a ventilated environment as much as possible to avoid the impact of humid weather on the chassis.
8. The service life of the waterproof testing system is also related to the frequency of use, so in daily life, these are quite routine, but these small details can also be maintained to improve the service life of the equipment.

How long is the appropriate duration for waterproofing testing of the waterproofing testing system?
The appropriate duration for conducting waterproof tests on products is mainly determined by national and international standard testing requirements or user testing time requirements. Some people believe that the longer the testing time, the better. In fact, it is not. Some waterproof testing devices can be tested for 24 or 48 hours, but it is not recommended that the testing time be too long. If the time is too long, it can cause some damage to the product.

For example, the IPX7 immersion test time is 30 minutes, and the IPX8 immersion machine states in GB/T4208-2017 “Housing Protection Level (IP Code)” that it is manufactured through negotiation between the merchant and the user, and there is no standard time specification for this machine. So it’s not easy to say exactly how long it should take, as the testing time varies for different levels.
