V. So what kind of leak detector is more suitable for the detection of IP6X products?
First the product you want to test

1. The test pressure of the product, if the pressure of the test product is low, do not choose a high-pressure car instrument. Some people choose to import 700Kp test equipment even though the test pressure is only 10kPa, not to mention that the price is almost doubled. The accuracy of the pressure regulator and pressure sensor is not ideal.

2. The cavity of the workpiece to be tested. If you are testing an electronic device with a relatively small cavity, the cavity of this product is very small. At this time, you’d better choose an instrument with a smaller inner cavity for testing. The cavity of the instrument is relatively large, and the cavity of the workpiece is relatively small, so the accuracy and efficiency of the test will be compromised. The idea is that if the workpiece is larger, the requirements for the cavity are less stringent.

3. Whether it is used by a single unit or by multiple units at the same time. When multiple units are used, individual differences in instruments, differences in tooling fixtures, differences in connecting pipelines, etc., will cause errors in the data generated by testing the same workpiece. This requires the instrument to have a certain data correction function when processing data, so that Guarantee the consistency of the test results of multiple instruments.

4. Clarify the allowable leakage range of your product, whether this value exists, and if so, what unit is it. Is it Pa or Pa/s or ml/min. This is a very critical thing. What is the neutralization of the cavity connecting the pipeline and the workpiece during the test, and the change of this value will completely change the test result.

The leak detector we are talking about now refers to using air as the medium (or nitrogen, etc.), and judging whether there is a workpiece exceeding the allowable leakage range of the tested part through a small pressure (pressure) change. Most of them use differential pressure sensors for testing.
