LISUN RWG61000-12 Ring Wave Generator – After Sales Questions and Answers

Ring wave test generator is designed according to the IEC (the International Electro technical Commission) standard IEC61000-4-12, EN61000-4-12, ANSI-C62-41 and GB/T17626.12. This instrument is used for the simulative electrical network, the power supply of the reactive load and the control line switch, as well as sensing the ring wave of the low voltage cables terminal equipment caused by the disconnection of the power circuit, fault and insulation breakdown or lightning stroke. The RWG61000-12 series products have LCD display in both English and Chinese.

Q1: The device cannot be started
A1：
a. Check fuse

b. Disassemble the machine and check the varistor inside the power socket
If the power supply voltage of the equipment is incorrect, the fuse or varistor may be damaged. Please provide the equipment with a stable and correct power supply voltage.

Q2: The power supply of the laboratory will trip during the ringing wave test
A2: The power supply needs to be connected to the isolation transformer first, and then connected to the “built-in network input” on the back of the equipment through the isolation transformer. The ringing wave test will return a large pulse to the power grid. If the isolation transformer is not connected, it is easy to cause the laboratory to trip.

Q3: The tested object cannot be lit during surge test
A3: After all wiring is completed, please confirm that the output switch of the isolation transformer is open.
Before the test, please confirm that the air switch at the “built-in network input” on the back of the device has been turned on.
