Published on June 23, 2015, the Saudi Standard SASO 2870/2015 came into force on May 1, 2016. This standard sets the energy efficiency, functionality, and labeling requirements for indirect and direct general light sources with a luminous flux between 60 lumens and 12,000 lumens.
