Product No: LSRF-3
LSRF-3 Lamp Start, Run-up Time and Flicker Tester is equipped with a high-precision, high-speed CIE Class A photometric probe. With a maximum sampling rate of 100 kHz, it can capture transient changes in a light source’s output at high speed, enabling precise measurement of dynamic optical parameters such as flicker, start-up time, rise time, and light stabilization time. The LSRF‑3 can be integrated with integrating spheres or goniophotometers from LISUN or other manufacturers. It includes Microsoft-certified testing software (available in both Chinese and English) that automatically generates comprehensive test reports, making it an ideal solution for LED lighting manufacturers, producers of self-ballasted energy-saving lamps, and third-party testing laboratories.

Test Function 1: Lamp Flicker Perfermance Test
Configuration Details: The LSRF-3 test unit can be integrated with LISUN’s LPCE-2/LPCE-3 (or other brands’) integrating sphere spectroradiometer systems, or with LISUN’s LSG series (or other brands’) goniophotometers (requires the optional CLAMP-LSRF dedicated test fixture). It operates via a standard AC power supply. Click here to preview a sample flicker test report.
Measurable Parameters: Pst-LM, Pst-V, flicker percentage, flicker index, SVM (Stroboscopic Visibility Measure), and other standard flicker metrics.
Compliance Standards: IEEE 1789, CIE TN 006, BASIC, ASSIST, CA CEC, and EU ErP flicker limit requirements.
Typical Applications: Routine factory quality control, product flicker performance screening, and basic flicker assessment for dimmable luminaires—suitable for internal quality inspections and fundamental compliance verification.

LSRF-3 Lamp Flicker Perfermance Test
Test Function 2: Lamp Flicker Perfermance Test + Lamp Start, Run-up and Stablization Time Test
Configuration Details: Building upon the setup for Function 1, this configuration incorporates an integrating sphere system (such as the LISUN LPCE-3 or an equivalent model from another brand) paired with a LISUN LSP-500VARC Pure Sine Wave AC Power Source (High Precision). (This setup is the standard configuration for LISUN’s LPCE-2 integrating sphere spectroradiometer test system and LSG series goniophotometers.)
Measurable Parameters: Includes all fundamental flicker parameters, plus dynamic start-up performance metrics such as luminaire start-up time, 10%–90% rise time, and light output stabilization time.
Standards Compliance: ENERGY STAR V2.1, SASO 2902, IEC 60969, (EU) 2019/2015, and (EU) 2019/2020.
Typical Applications: Certification testing for U.S. ENERGY STAR and Saudi SASO standards; design validation for lighting products; comprehensive compliance testing for mass-produced goods; suitable for the vast majority of standard export certification requirements.

LSRF-3 Lamp Start, Run-up and Stablization Time Test
Test Function 3: Lamp Flicker Perfermance Test + Lamp Start, Run-up and Stablization Time Test + Pst-LM(I) Flicker Test
Configuration Details: Builds upon the system used for Function 1 or Function 2 by integrating the specialized LSP-500VARC-Pst (IEC-Pst AC Power Source), no modifications to existing test hardware are required.
Measurable Parameters: Includes all standard flicker, start-up, rise, and stabilization time parameters; adds the core dynamic flicker metric—Pst-LM(I)—as specified in the IEC TR 61547-1:2020 standard for voltage fluctuation immunity, enabling comprehensive flicker assessment across both steady-state and dynamic conditions.
Standards Compliance: Fully covers all aforementioned standards, with a specific focus on meeting the requirements for flicker testing under voltage fluctuation immunity as per IEC TR 61547-1:2020.
Typical Applications: Third-party accredited testing laboratories, certification for high-end products exported to the EU, and EMC-related flicker immunity testing for luminaires—ensuring compliance with the industry’s most rigorous standards.
