Operation steps of IPX56 waterproof test chamber

The IPX56 waterproof test chamber is a testing equipment used to evaluate the sealing and waterproofing performance of products. It can be used to test products for IPX5 or IPx6 waterproof levels, and its application range is also relatively wide, such as in various electronic and electrical industries and products such as automobiles, LED lighting fixtures, diving, and other fields.

The waterproof test chamber is divided into three different instruments: handheld spray test device, handheld side spray, and automatic full spray. It is a single device that can achieve two types of IPx5 and IPx6 waterproof level tests.

Operation steps for using Ipx5 testing equipment:
1. Press the power button to turn on the machine. After about 3-4 seconds, this interface will appear. Click “Welcome” to enter the main interface, and then click to enter the “Manual Screen” to adjust the water spray position; Observe whether the water spray point is close to the center position; If the water spray deviates significantly, the angle of the spray gun needs to be manually adjusted.

2. Open the chamber door and fix the sample in the center position of the turntable (if the sample is tested with electricity, it is necessary to connect the wires in advance and plug them into the sample power socket

3. Before testing, select the corresponding level, and the program will automatically adapt to the corresponding parameters; Users can set additional parameters in the “Test Parameters” according to actual testing requirements.

4. Observe the standard flow scale corresponding to the flow rate to see if the upper surface of the float is consistent; If it does not meet the requirements, please make minor adjustments by the user

5. If there is no need for further testing, please press the power button to shut down.

Operating steps for using IPx6 testing equipment:
1. Place the sample on the sample turntable so that it is at the center of the table.
2. Place the turntable approximately 2.5 meters away from the chassis to meet the standards.
3. Set the total testing time (at least 3 minutes), the forward and backward rotation time of the turntable, and the power on and off time of the sample.
4. Rotate the button to select the IPX5 or IPX6 test level.
5. Pick up the corresponding level of test spray gun (it needs to be tightly held) and open the valve of the spray gun.
6. Press the “Automatic Test” button to start spraying water (pay attention to holding the spray gun tightly, as the impact force of IPX6 spraying water is relatively large).
7. Align the nozzle with the surface of the sample shell and spray; After the testing time expires, the device automatically stops; Return the spray gun to its original position.
8. Remove the sample and check the results; If there is no subsequent time, the device power switch can be turned off.

What is the purpose of the flushing test of the IPX56 waterproof test chamber?
Conduct a water spraying test on the product at a distance of 2.5 to 3 meters, with the aim of testing whether the product has waterproof performance and water resistance. In addition, after testing, the performance of the product is judged to meet the requirements through verification, in order to facilitate the design, improvement, verification, and factory inspection of the product.
