How Long does a Salt Spray Test Take?

If there is no standard, it can be decided through negotiation between the parties concerned. Generally recommended test time is: 2, 4, 6, 8, 24, 48, 72, 96, 144, 168, 240, 480, 720h, 1000h. And during the specified test period, spraying shall not be interrupted. Only when it is necessary to observe the sample for a short time, can the salt spray box be opened. If the end of the test depends on the time when corrosion begins, the specimens need to be checked frequently.
