Problems and Solutions of colorimeter

Color deviation has become a difficult problem in color printing, textile and paint industries, and color data can be quantified by color difference meter detection, which is conducive to data exchange with customers or enterprises. The built-in light source of the colorimeter illuminates the sample, collects the reflected light of the sample surface, and detects the color RGB component of the reflected light through the RGB detector, so as to calculate the color LAB and color difference value. When the color difference meter is used to monitor the printing color difference, it can basically play a monitoring role, better reflect the color visual psychology and physiological laws, provide more detailed color information, and play a good role in promoting the printing color management.

Q: With battery power supply, the colorimeter cannot be started. What should we do?
A: 1. This phenomenon indicates that the battery power is insufficient and the colorimeter needs to be powered; (Plug in the power adapter or replace the battery)
2. If not, you can unplug the power adapter, insert the power adapter again, and check whether it can be turned on, or repeatedly unplug the power adapter several times to try.
3. If the above methods do not work, replace the battery.

Q: What should I do if the result measured by the colorimeter is abnormal?
A: 1. This situation is generally caused by no black and white correction or inaccurate black and white correction, and black and white plate correction is required first.
2. Dirt entering the measuring port will also cause inaccurate measurement. It is better to check before measurement;
3. Check whether the battery consumption is too low (less than 20%), replace it with a new dry battery or use a DC power supply.
4. Check whether the instrument and test object are stable during measurement, and whether the measuring port and measuring surface are in close contact
5. Check whether the measuring object is too thin and light leaks
6. Check whether the measuring part is mixed
7. If the measurement results are still zero after the black and white plate correction, it can be judged that the instrument is broken.

Q: What should we pay attention to when using the colorimeter?
A: 1. This instrument is a precision measuring instrument. During measurement, dramatic changes in the external environment of the instrument should be avoided, such as flickering of ambient light.
2. This instrument is not waterproof and cannot be used in high humidity environment or water mist.
3. Keep the instrument clean, avoid water, dust and other liquid, powder or solid foreign matters entering the measuring aperture and inside the instrument, and avoid impact and collision on the instrument.
4. If the instrument is not used for a long time, remove the battery.
5. The power adapter not specially used by our company cannot be used, otherwise the instrument may be burnt.
6. After using the instrument, put the colorimeter and white board cover into the instrument box and keep them properly.
7. The instrument should be stored in a dry, cool and cool environment. To avoid damage to the instrument.
