LS-B33 IEC 62368-1:2018 Annex T.6 Figure T.1 Steel Ball Impact Test For Enclosure is used to test the drop impact resistance of equipment housings, providing support for verifying the mechanical protection capabilities of product housings. This apparatus can perform two test modes: vertical drop impact and swinging horizontal impact. It simulates collision and impact scenarios that equipment housings may encounter during actual use and transportation by dropping or swinging steel balls of specific specifications from a set height. During the test, the impact energy and contact method of the steel balls strictly adhere to relevant requirements. By observing whether the equipment housing shows damage such as breakage or cracking after the impact, which affects safety, the apparatus determines whether its impact resistance meets the standards, helping to ensure the structural reliability of the product throughout its entire life cycle.
