Abstract
With the growing demand for quantitative color detection in industrial production and material laboratories, traditional color measuring instruments suffer from cumbersome operation, insufficient measurement accuracy, and the inability to integrate transmittance and reflectance detection. Taking the LISUN DSCD-950P Benchtop Spectrophotometer (Transmittance & Reflectance) as the research object, this paper centers on the core equipment architecture of the Benchtop Transmittance Spectrophotometer. It analyzes the software and hardware advantages of the instrument equipped with a 7-inch TFT true-color capacitive touch screen, full-spectrum spectroscopic system and Android intelligent operating system. The performance of the equipment is elaborated from three dimensions: high-precision optical light path, intelligent interactive system and multi-scenario adaptability. A table of core parameter data is used to quantify the precision indicators of the instrument, and the application scenarios in industries including plastics, liquids, textiles and printing are sorted out. The study shows that this Benchtop Transmittance Spectrophotometer balances measurement accuracy, operational convenience and intelligence, and can meet standardized color measurement requirements for laboratory color analysis and industrial quality inspection, with high promotion and application value.
1. Introduction
Color serves as a core evaluation indicator for the appearance quality and batch consistency of materials. Manual visual identification produces subjective errors and fails to realize digital and standardized control. As a precision optical testing instrument integrating transmittance and reflectance dual modes, the Benchtop Transmittance Spectrophotometer converts subjective human color perception into objective values such as spectrum, chromaticity and color difference, acting as a core testing instrument for material research and finished product quality inspection.
Most conventional benchtop color measuring instruments on the market adopt key-press display screens and closed operating systems, accompanied by drawbacks such as high operation thresholds, limited sizes of transmittance samples, single detection capacity for fluorescent samples, and manual replacement of multiple apertures.
