Rotating Barrel Drop Test Machine

Rotating Barrel Drop Test Machine | Roller Drum Drop Tester is according to IEC 60068-2-31 Annexe A (instead IEC 60068-2-32), IEC 60884-1 Clause 24.3 standard of the “mechanical strength” test requirements. It assesses the drop resistance of electrical accessories.

Test Purpose of the Rotating Barrel Drop Test Machine:
• Durability of the outer shell;
• (Heavy) Drop resistance of the internal structure;
• Adaptability to repeated free falls.

The Rotating Barrel Drop Test Machine simulates the free fall of the object under test during normal use by the user:
• Put the measured object into the Rotating Barrel artificially
• Turn off the transparent cover and protective device
• The motor drives the Rotating Barrel rotating against time clockwise
• Rotating a week and fall twice

How does the Rotating Barrel Drop Test Machine function:
• A drop frequency is realized by the motor (5 rpm)
• Falling height is 500mm or 1000mm
• The barrel structure ensures that the measured objects fall randomly to avoid abnormal friction and collision movement
