The IS-0.5M-UFT uniform light source integrating sphere can be equipped with a standard light source, DC power supply, spectrometer, and monitoring software. It is primarily used for CCD calibration and spectrometer correction, providing accurate and traceable metrological calibration standards for digital cameras, CCD image sensors, space detectors, and other equipment.
Working Principle: The integrating sphere utilizes a highly diffuse reflective material on its inner wall to perform multiple disordered reflections of light, eliminating direct light from the source and transforming the point source into a Lambertian uniform surface light source. This results in a spatially uniformly distributed radiation light output, thus calibrating the radiation response of optical devices.
The inner wall of the sphere is coated with a barium sulfate high diffuse reflective coating. A dedicated light-blocking baffle is placed between the light source and the light outlet to completely block direct light from reaching the outlet. All output light undergoes multiple diffuse reflections and mixing within the sphere wall. Through optical structure optimization, the uniformity of the light outlet surface and angle is better than 98%, enabling the output of a highly consistent Lambertian radiation surface, meeting the needs of various uniform light source applications such as camera imaging calibration, spectrometer correction, and aerospace detector calibration.
