Product No: LS-B04
The LS-B04 IEC 60884-1 Clause 14.2 Figure 17 Non-solid Pins Testing Device is a specialized instrument designed to test the mechanical strength of non-solid pins. The device uses a rigid component to apply a perpendicular force to the surface of the non-solid pin in a specific manner. After maintaining this force for a set time, the deformation of the pin is observed and measured to determine whether it possesses sufficient hardness and structural stability. This ensures that the pin can withstand the corresponding mechanical stress in actual use and meets the structural reliability requirements during operation.
Standards:
| Standards | Standards Name |
| IEC 60884-1:2022 | Plugs and socket-outlets for household and similar purposes – Part 1: General requirements |
| VDE 0620-2-1:2021 | Connectors for household and similar purposes – Part 2-1: Particular requirements for plugs |

Specification:
• Steel rod: Φ4.8mm
• Weight: 100N
• Manual rotary handwheel for applying pressure to the pin
Test Method: A Φ4.8mm steel rod with a 100N load is pressed perpendicularly to the axis of the non-solid pin for 1 minute. The deformation at the point of pressure must not exceed 0.15mm, and the dimensional change of the pin must not exceed 0.6mm. This method is used to determine if the non-solid pin has sufficient hardness.
