GNGPL-6216BILDA 2P+PE AC16A test plug is precisely manufactured per Drawing 16a of DIN VDE 0620-1:2021, serving as the standard probe specially for temperature rise test of German standard plugs and sockets, equipped with reserved hole for temperature sensor to accurately collect pin temperature data, mainly used for Clause 19 temperature rise test of VDE standard. This standard test plug defines surface roughness, contact resistance and precision outline dimensions, which can simulate actual plug mating condition and accurately test temperature rise of socket contact sleeves and contact bridges. For electrical appliances with auxiliary power supply function, it can cooperate with special wires for loaded temperature rise test, being core gauge for German plug & socket type test, laboratory calibration and product quality verification.

Test Procedures:
• Pre-test Calibration: Test pole-pole and pole-earth contact resistance to guarantee resistance ≤0.75 Ω, check pin Rz3 roughness and dimensions to meet drawing tolerance.
• Sensor Installation: Fix temperature sensor into reserved Φ1 hole of pins and arrange wiring neatly.
• Normal Temperature Rise Test: Insert the standard test plug fully into tested socket, switch on rated 16A load current per Clause 19, collect temperature data continuously.
• Test for samples with auxiliary functions:
– Equip sample with two 1 m long 2.5 mm² single-core wires for auxiliary power supply;
– If auxiliary power circuit is detachable and independent feeding brings no interference to temperature rise detection, this test plug can be used directly;
– If auxiliary circuit cannot be separated, this plug is prohibited for temperature rise test.
• Test Completion: Keep energizing until temperature stabilizes, record maximum temperature rise and judge product qualification against standard limits.
