Product No: GNGPL-5752
Gauge for Interchangeability of EN 50075 Figure 2 is a dedicated interchangeability inspection tool designed for flat non-wirable two-pole plugs, fully complying with BS EN 50075 (BS EN 50075:1991) “Specification for flat non-wirable two-pole plugs 2.5 A 250 V, with cord, for the connection of class II-equipment for household and similar purposes” Figure 2. Its dimensions, tolerances, material quality, hardness, and surface roughness all meet strict standard requirements, featuring a material with small thermal expansion coefficient and stable dimensional accuracy to ensure reliable verification of plug interchangeability.
Specifications:
• Complies with BS EN 50075 standard Figure 2
• Material hardness: More than 50HRC
• Material thermal expansion coefficient: Small
• Dimensions and tolerances: Stable and reliable
• Surface roughness: Meets standard requirements
• Edge design: Slightly rounded
• Applicable product: 2.5A 250V flat non-wirable two-pole plugs with cord
• Intended use: For connecting class II-equipment for household and similar purposes
• Key dimensions (with tolerances): ø5.5 mm (0 / +0.05), ø4.07 mm (+0.05), 19 mm (±0.05)
• Function: Verifies the interchangeability of target plugs
Test Procedures:
• Prepare the 2.5A 250V flat non-wirable two-pole plug (with cord) to be inspected, ensuring its surface is clean and free of debris.
• Insert the plug into the gauge smoothly without applying undue force.
• Check whether the engagement face of the plug comes into full contact with the surface of the gauge.
• Verify compliance: If the plug can be inserted into the gauge without excessive force and the engagement face achieves complete contact with the gauge surface, the plug meets the interchangeability requirements of the standard.
Applications:
• Testing and inspecting the interchangeability of 2.5A 250V flat non-wirable two-pole plugs with cord.
• Quality control and interchangeability verification for plugs used in class II-equipment connection for household and similar purposes.
• Conformity assessment in the electronics manufacturing industry for plug products.
• Interchangeability inspection during the production process of electrical appliances and plug components.
• Compliance testing in industries related to plugs and socket-outlets for domestic and similar application scenarios.
