2. Precautions for Use

Handle with care during use; do not subject the gauge to impact to prevent bending or deformation. Testing must be conducted in strict accordance with standard specifications. Do not use the gauge to inspect lamp holders or sockets with rough or dirty surfaces.

4. Instructions for Use

(1) General Specification 7006-46A-3 (Figure 1)

Purpose: To inspect the length and outer diameter of the G5 lamp base pins, as well as the interchangeability of the G5 lamp base pins (including the stopper) on finished light bulbs.

Instructions for Use: a) The pins on the G5 base of the finished light bulb should insert smoothly and fully into the gauge at the O-face, with the base’s surface in contact with the gauge’s surface.

b) After fully inserting the gauge according to the steps above, the end of the probe should be flush with or extend beyond the X-face, but must not extend beyond the Y-face.

c) Each single pin should be able to be inserted smoothly from side O into hole e1 until the surface of the lamp head comes into contact with the surface of the gauge.

(2) Stop-and-Go Regulator 7006-46-3 (Figure 2)

Purpose: To measure the length and outer diameter of the G5 lamp base pins and to verify the interchangeability of the G5 lamp base pins when assembled with a light bulb.

Instructions for Use: a) The lamp base pins should be able to be inserted smoothly and completely into the gauge from the O-face, with the surface of the lamp base in contact with the surface of the gauge.

b) After fully inserting the gauge according to the steps above, the tip of the probe should be flush with or extend beyond surface X.

c) Each pin should be able to be inserted smoothly into hole e2 until the pin’s stop comes into contact with the surface of the gauge, but it should not be inserted into hole e1.

d) The stop pin of a single needle should be able to be inserted smoothly from the gauge’s O-face into hole b until the lamp base face comes into contact with the gauge’s surface.
