  • Description
  • The LS8280 Pink Noise Generator is a signal analysis instrument developed based on computer multimedia technology. When used with computer control, it can function as a dual-channel signal generator, producing pink noise that complies with IEC 60065 Clauses 4.2 & 4.3 and IEC 62368-1:2023 Annex E (E.2.1), as well as sine wave noise specified in IEC 62368-1:2023 Annex E (E.2.2).

In addition, it is capable of generating a variety of other signals, including swept-frequency sine waves, swept-amplitude sine waves, sine wave bursts, white noise, narrowband white noise, and narrowband pink noise. These signals are widely applicable for verifying the electrical energy source classification of audio equipment, conducting tests under normal and abnormal operating conditions, and meeting the noise signal supply requirements of multiple scenarios such as household appliances, electronic musical instruments, and professional audio equipment.

    Configuration List:

Serial No. Name Main Function Quantity
1 Noise Generator Serves as a dual-channel signal generator 1
2 Noise Generator Software Capable of generating signals such as pink noise, sine wave noise, and white noise 1
3 Computer Used for software integration and system configuration 1

    Specifications:
    • Frequency Range: 1Hz ~ 70kHz ±0.2dB
    • Number of Output Channels: 2 independent output channels, supporting single-channel/dual-channel synchronous operation to meet the simultaneous testing requirements of multi-channel amplifiers
    • Signal Input Interface: BNC interface (low impedance, high stability, compatible with professional testing equipment)
    • Output Interface: 100M RJ45 (used for connecting to the control computer to realize remote parameter setting and data interaction)
    • Phase Adjustment: Supports 0°/90° phase difference setting for the two channels
    • Output Amplitude: In accordance with IEC 60065 and IEC 62368-1, the amplitudes of sine waves and pink noise are as shown in the table below

Output Level Sine Wave (1kHz) Amplitude Filtered Pink Noise Amplitude
Low 0~100 mV 0~35 mV rms
    Medium 0~1 V 0~350 mV rms
