Product No: GNGPL-5751
Go Gauges and Not Go Gauges for Pin Diameter According to EN 50075 Figure 1 is a specialized inspection tool designed for verifying the pin diameter of flat non-wirable two-pole plugs, fully compliant with BS EN 50075 (BS EN 50075:1991) “Specification for flat non-wirable two-pole plugs 2.5 A 250 V, with cord, for the connection of class II-equipment for household and similar purposes” Figure 1. It consists of both “Go” and “Not Go” gauges, with key attributes such as dimensions, tolerances, material quality, hardness, and surface roughness all meeting strict standard requirements. The material boasts a small thermal expansion coefficient and stable dimensional accuracy, ensuring consistent and reliable inspection results for product compliance.
Specifications:
• Complies with BS EN 50075 (BS EN 50075:1991) standard Figure 1
• Gauge types: “Go” gauges and “Not Go” gauges
• Material hardness: Exceeds 50HRC
• Material thermal expansion coefficient: Small
• Dimensions and tolerances: Stable and reliable
• Surface roughness: Meets standard requirements
• Edge design: Slightly rounded
• Applicable product: 2.5A 250V flat non-wirable two-pole plugs with cord
• Intended use: For connecting class II-equipment for household and similar purposes
Test Procedures:
• Select the appropriate “Go” gauge and “Not Go” gauge matching the 2.5A 250V flat non-wirable two-pole plug to be inspected.
• Attempt to pass the pin of the plug through the “Go” gauge without applying undue force.
• Try to pass the same plug pin through the gap in the “Not Go” gauge without using excessive force.
• Verify compliance: The pin should pass through the “Go” gauge smoothly, and must not pass through the “Not Go” gauge; the product meets the standard requirements only if both conditions are satisfied.
Applications:
• Testing and inspecting the pin diameter of 2.5A 250V flat non-wirable two-pole plugs with cord.
• Quality control and compliance verification for plugs used to connect class II-equipment in household and similar scenarios.
• Conformity assessment during the production process of electronic components and plug products.
• Dimensional inspection in the electrical appliance manufacturing industry to ensure product compliance.
• Compliance testing for plugs and related accessories in industries serving domestic and similar purpose electrical systems.
