Surface Temperature Probe

SMT-T20 Surface Temperature Probe combines a temperature sensing element with a conductive structure. It senses changes in the temperature of the measured environment and converts them into a recognizable electrical signal, enabling precise sensing and transmission of the target temperature. The probe possesses excellent temperature response characteristics, quickly following temperature changes and outputting a stable signal, adapting to temperature measurement needs in various environments. Its structural design balances ease of installation with measurement stability, ensuring consistent measurement performance in diverse testing scenarios and providing reliable data support for temperature-related testing and verification.

• Thermocouple Type: Type K (chrome alumel).
• Thermocouple Wire Diameter: 0.3 mm
• Contact Force: 4 N ± 1 N (enabled by handle arrangement)
• Tinned Copper Disc:  5 mm diameter, 0.5 mm thickness (flat contact face)
• Polycarbonate Tube Inner diameter: 3 mm; Outer diameter: 5 mm
• Handle Function:  Ensures consistent contact force and easy probe positioning

Test Procedures:
• Inspect the probe for physical damage (e.g., cracked tube, loose disc).
• Position the flat copper disc on the appliance’s target surface.
• Use the handle to apply a contact force of 4 N ± 1 N.
• Wait for the temperature reading to stabilize.
• Record the measured surface temperature.
• Gently remove the probe from the appliance.
