GNGPL-6217BILDD 2P AC2.5A standard test plug is precisely manufactured according to Figure 16d of DIN VDE 0620-2-1:2021, a dedicated gauge for temperature rise test of German low-current plugs and sockets specified in Clause 19. With standardized outline, precise pin dimensions and designated materials, it simulates actual mating state of 2.5A low-power plugs to accurately test temperature rise of internal socket contacts. For appliances with auxiliary power supply, it can be used with 1.5 mm² single-core wires for loaded temperature rise test on the premise that auxiliary circuit is separable and causes no temperature measurement interference. It is widely applied in laboratory calibration, small home appliance connector type test and thermal resistance verification.

Test Procedures:
• Pre-inspection: Verify outline, pin size and nickel plating conform to drawings, confirm good conduction of contact bridge.
• Standard Temperature Rise Test: Fully insert the plug into tested socket, apply rated 2.5A load current according to Clause 19, arrange temperature measuring equipment to collect real-time thermal data.
• Test for auxiliary-function products
– Connect two 1 m long 1.5 mm² single-core wires for auxiliary power supply;
– This plug is only allowed for test when auxiliary circuit can be separated independently and brings no disturbance to temperature measurement;
– Test with this plug is forbidden if auxiliary circuit cannot be detached.
• Result Judgment: Maintain power until temperature stabilizes, record peak temperature rise and judge qualification against standard limits.
