DIN VDE 0620-2-1:2021 Clause 24.2 Pin Torque Gauge

This pin torque gauge is customized strictly according to Clause 24.2 of DIN VDE 0620-2-1:2021, specially used for re-inspection of pin fastening reliability after plug tumble drop test. The tool provides accurate rated torque of 0.4 Nm with tolerance 0~+0.04 Nm, it can apply torque clockwise and counter-clockwise for 1 minute respectively to judge whether pins get loose rotation after impact. Test Procedures:
• Precondition: Complete tumble drop test of Clause 24.2 DIN VDE0620-1 and take out the tested plug;
• Fix sample: Clamp plug housing firmly, lock torque head tightly on the tested pin;
• Clockwise test: Apply 0.4 Nm torque steadily and hold for 1 minute;
• Counter-clockwise test: Switch direction, keep 0.4 Nm torque steadily for another 1 minute;
• Judgment: Qualified if pin keeps stationary; disqualified if pin rotates or shifts during test.
