1.2.3 Downloading Electronic Documents
We have already sent download links for the digital user manual, software, warranty card, and other materials via email at the time of shipment. Please download them as soon as possible. If you missed the email, please feel free to contact us to request the download links again.
Note 1: Both the LISUN Spectroradiometer and Goniophotomoeter software can control the DC series power supplies; this manual only covers the operation of the dedicated power supply software.
Note 2: Unlike the DC-S and DC-B series of switching power supplies, the high-precision linear DC series power supplies do not allow for the direct setting of output voltage and current values. When operating these units, we recommend referring to Chapter 4 for instructions on using the software; when operating them via the front panel as described in Chapter 5, please be patient during the debugging process.
2. Safety Precautions
2.1 Electrical Safety Standards
The equipment’s Input power supply single-phase AC 220 V ±10%, 50/60 Hz. It must comply with safety standards and have a properly functioning protective grounding system, with a protective grounding resistance of ≤4 Ω, to prevent electric shock.
2.2 Environmental Safety Standards
For indoor use only; avoid direct sunlight. Place on a sturdy, stable surface to prevent severe vibrations. Ensure the environment is free of dust, corrosive gases, and flammable or explosive materials. Keep away from strong magnetic and electric fields. Ensure good ventilation; leave at least 10 cm of space around the device for heat dissipation, and do not block the cooling fan vents. Operating Environment: Temperature 5°C to 35°C, relative humidity ≤65% RH.
2.3 Operational Safety Guidelines
Do not operate the device or plug in/unplug the power cord with wet hands; stop the output before connecting or disconnecting wires; allow the device to warm up for at least 10 minutes after powering on before resuming output; do not touch the output terminals, internal components, the load, or load wiring while the device is in operation; Allow at least 3 minutes between powering on and off to prevent damage from power surges; do not shut down the device directly while it is in output mode; first shut off the output and wait until the voltage and current readings return to 0 before powering down; if you notice an unusual odor, smoke, abnormal noise, or overheating, immediately disconnect the power and do not continue operation.

| ⑬ | The external sampling terminal, which is also connected to your DC load, allows you to obtain a more accurate load-side voltage. If you require high voltage sampling accuracy, please connect it; leaving it unconnected does not affect the DC power supply’s output functionality. Note: Pay attention to polarity when wiring. |
| ⑭ | Internal Sampling/External Sampling. Note: If the external sampling terminal is not wired, the sampling mode switch will not function, and the device will only perform internal sampling. |

Note: External sampling uses a 4-wire measurement method, which accounts for cable voltage drop; internal sampling includes cable voltage drop.
3.2 Introduction to the Back Panel
| Number | Note |
| ① | Power cord jack, for connecting the device to a suitable power source |
| ② | Fuse |
| ③ | Protective grounding terminal: Internally short-circuited to the grounding terminal of the power cord. If the power cord already provides adequate protective grounding, this terminal does not need to be connected. |
| ④ | Output terminals; these have the same function as the output terminals on the device’s front panel |
| ⑤ | External sampling terminal; functions identically to the external sampling terminal on the device’s front panel |
| ⑥ | RS232/RS485 communication port: If you need to use computer software to configure and control the power output, connect it to the computer’s communication port, or use a USB adapter cable to connect it to the computer’s USB port. |

Note: For the output terminals, connect to either the front panel or the rear panel; for the external sampling terminals, connect to either the front panel or the rear panel.
4. Software Operation
4.1 Preparations
Copy the software folder to your computer. No installation is required; simply double-click the following file to open the software interface.

Note:
| Number | Note |
| ① | Click the red LISUN logo in the upper-left corner of the software interface |
| ② | Select the display language for the software interface: Chinese or English |
| ③ | Selecting a DC Series Power Supply |
| ④ | To select the correct communication port, check the “Device Manager” on your computer to confirm which port is being used. |
4.2 Controlling the DC Power Supply Output Using Software
| Number | Note |
| ① | Select the output mode: CC (constant current output) or CV (constant voltage output) |
| ② | Enter the appropriate current and voltage values |
| ③ | Click “Output” to export. |
| ④ | Click “Stop Output” to stop the output. |

Note: If a constant-voltage output is required, the current serves as a current-limiting reference value. You can set it directly to the maximum value, or at least to a value that meets the set constant-voltage value. If the current is set too low, it will trigger the current limit, resulting in a failed output.
If a constant current output is required, the voltage serves as the overvoltage limit reference. You can set it directly to the maximum value, or at least to a value that meets the set constant current requirement. If the voltage is set too low, it will trigger the overvoltage limit, causing the output to fail.
5. Equipment Operation
5.1 Constant-Voltage Output
Make sure the Remote/Local switch indicator light is off. If it is on, press the button to turn it off and switch to local operation mode.
| Instructions | Note |
| ① | Verify that the adjustment mode is set to “Coarse”; otherwise, press the adjustment mode switch button to switch to “Coarse.” |
| ② | Turn the current adjustment knob clockwise and continue turning until the alarm is triggered (reaching the device’s maximum current output) or until the current reaches a value sufficient to maintain constant-voltage output. Note : There is no output and no digital display before adjusting the voltage. |
| ③ | Slowly turn the voltage adjustment knob clockwise; the output voltage and current values will begin to display and gradually increase, and the CV indicator light will turn on, indicating that the unit is in constant-voltage output mode. |
| ④ | After roughly adjusting the output voltage to a value close to the rated voltage, switch to intermediate or fine adjustment to set the voltage to the rated voltage of the DC load. |
| ⑤ | Press the “Return to Zero” reset button to stop the output. |
Note: If, during debugging, the CV indicator turns off and the CC indicator turns on, this indicates that the set current value is too low and the power supply has switched to constant-current mode. Simply turn the knob clockwise to increase the current and restore constant-voltage output.
5.2 Constant-Current Output
