1.2 Unboxing Inspection and Verification of Accessories
1.2.1 Unpacking and Visual Inspection
When unpacking the device, handle it gently to avoid scratching the outer casing with sharp tools. After unpacking, first inspect the exterior of the device to ensure there are no obvious deformations or dents, and that the buttons are not damaged or loose.
If you notice any damage or deformation to the equipment or accessories, do not turn on the power. Please contact us immediately.
1.2.2 Main Unit and Accessories
Host Category: 1 Coupling Decoupling Network.
Standard Components for Coupling Decoupling Network for Power Lines: ① Power cord; ② RS-232 communication cable; ③ Banana plug cable; ground wire; ④ Isolation Transformer connection cable; ⑤ EUT sample connection cable; ⑥ Ground wire.

Figure 1
The standard accessories for a communication line Coupling Decoupling Network consist of only two banana plug cables and one ground wire.

Figure 3
Note: For operating instructions, please refer to the SG61000-5 User Manual. Simply connect all wiring related to the built-in CDN network to the external CDN.
2.1.2 CDN61000-5C Signal Line Coupling Decoupling Network
Connections between the SG61000-5 Series Surge Generators and the CDN61000-5C Series Signal Line Coupling Decoupling Networks:

Figure 4
Note: When the SG61000-5 series Surge Generator is used in conjunction with the CDN61000-5C series Coupling Decoupling Network, it functions equivalently to the SG61000-5C. Please refer to the SG61000-5C Operating Instructions.
3. Equipment Storage
3.1 Short-Term Storage Requirements
If the equipment is used on a daily basis, no further action is required after each test and cleaning are completed.
3.2 Requirements for Long-Term Storage
If the device will not be used for an extended period (more than 1 month), please disconnect all cables and cover the device with a dust cover to prevent dust buildup.
The device should be powered on once a month for just half an hour to prevent the aging of electrical components (such as capacitors and contactors).
